The Deye AI-W5.1-PDU3-B + Base (Expandable) is the official Power Distribution Unit III kit for the Deye AI-W5.1 series. It sits between the AI-W5.1-B-ESS stackable hybrid inverter and the AI-W5.1-B battery modules, providing the critical power and communication connection for the complete energy storage system.
Key Difference from the Non-Expandable Version
- Non-expandable version: Limited to a single cluster of 2–6 battery modules (10–30 kWh).
- This Expandable version: Supports inter-cluster capacity expansion and parallel operation, allowing multiple clusters (up to 6 clusters / 36 modules / 184 kWh total).
